Our Mission

At Dignity4Less, we are dedicated to providing affordable funeral and cremation services to families in Ohio. Our mission is to ensure that every family has access to dignified end-of-life care without the financial burden.

About The PayItForward Membership

This program was inspired during the pandemic. With the costs of inflation skyrocketing and families in desperate need of financial relief during one of the most difficult times in their lives, we were at a crossroads. We needed to raise prices but also lower them at the same time for the families we serve. Being family-owned and operated has allowed us to help and, at times, even discount services to accommodate our families’ financial needs. But how could we discount services for everyone and still stay open to serve? This was when the Dignity4Less PayItForward Membership was born. This program allows members to pay a small monthly fee to PayItForward and help others in the community maintain the low cost of cremation and funeral services for all the families we serve who are PayItForward Members.

Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers!

What is cremation?
Cremation is a method of final disposition that uses high heat to reduce a body to ashes. It is an alternative to traditional burial and is chosen for personal, spiritual, or practical reasons.
The cremation process typically takes 2 to 3 hours. However, additional time may be needed for paperwork, authorization, and preparing the remains for return to the family.
Absolutely. You can have a traditional funeral with the body present before cremation, or a memorial service after the cremation with the ashes present. Services can be personalized to reflect your loved one’s life.
Families have many options, including keeping the urn at home, scattering ashes in a meaningful location, placing them in a cemetery niche, or dividing them among family members using keepsake urns or jewelry.
In most cases, yes. Cremation generally costs less than traditional burial because it eliminates the need for a casket, burial plot, and headstone. However, costs can vary depending on the type of services chosen.
While many religions accept cremation, some do not. It’s best to consult your religious advisor or spiritual leader if you have concerns about religious beliefs and cremation.
Reputable cremation providers follow strict identification procedures throughout the process to ensure that you receive only your loved one’s cremated remains. Ask about their identification protocols for peace of mind.
